Problem
Ineide aims to revolutionize the way people hire home cleaning and organizing services by combining convenience, reliability, and simplicity—all in the palm of their hand. It was created to meet the customer’s need to offer users a practical way to access trustworthy, reviewed, and verified profiles.
Process
The biggest challenge for Ineide was to create a product that is accessible for both homeowners and cleaning service providers.
First Step
With simple and clear communication, the first step was to define that the app would have both functions: hiring and being hired. To achieve this, the client chose to develop two separate apps, each designed to meet one of these needs.
Ineide App for Domestic Workers
It allows workers to find reliable job opportunities, ensuring fair payment that meets their needs.
Ineide App for Employers
It allows employers to find trustworthy domestic workers, previously verified and rated, and also customize their requests according to their needs, obtaining fair and flexible quotes.
User flow
At this stage of the project, an onboarding interview was conducted with the client to understand more details about the product and business model. Our starting point for validating the structure was designing the user flow of the applications, created separately for the service provider and client versions.
Visual Concept
The visual concept for the high-fidelity design was based on the brand and the project's main idea. The goal was to be simple, direct, and informative at the same time. The blue scale was taken from the logo and symbol colors. We chose to use line icons to reference the symbol. The illustrations are vector-based, sourced from an image bank with small adaptations, and appear at key moments in the journey to make decision-making easier.
UI Kit and Components
The project's UI Kit included various form components and their states, different types of buttons, progress bars, status indicators, rating inputs, dropdowns, selection switches, and a small library with over 40 static line-style icons. It also featured a color scale with brand, neutral, and system colors.
UX Motion
At some points during the journey, the user has to wait for tasks to be completed, such as account verification or searching for a professional. To make these moments less frustrating, I created two small animations to be used on the loading screens. Both come with texts informing the user that waiting is necessary because a certain action is in progress.
The illustrations were adapted from image libraries, and the motion effects were created in After Effects using paths and exported in JSON format for application through Lottie.
Result and impact
The Ineide app is still in the development phase. The developers working on the project stay in constant contact to align details about the structure and features. The expectation is that Ineide will be launched during 2025, becoming a product that not only makes life easier for people who need domestic services but also provides opportunities for service providers to work with flexibility.
